Shall We Dance?
Shall We Dance?
Who can resist the joy and energy of dance music? At our spring concert your toes will tap to Polka and Fugue from Schwanda, the Bagpiper and the “Cake Walk” from Robert Russell Bennett’s Suite of Old American Dances. You’ll be caught up in passionate Latin rhythms, including Ginastera’s powerful Danza Final, Piazzolla’s hypnotic Oblivion, and the crazy mash-up of Symphonic Mambo No. 5. We’ll top it all off with tunes from The King and I, including, of course, “Shall We Dance?” The concert is FREE, but seats must be reserved by calling 952-979-1111.

Pre-concert entertainment will feature HWCB small groups in the lobby and rhythm tappers from Keane Sense of Rhythm on the stage.
