Our spring concert features Musical Memories from the past 35 seasons as well as special tributes to the City of Hopkins, celebrating its 125th birthday. From our long list of favorites, we have selected Bernstein’s lively Overture to Candide and one of Don Bates’ signature tunes, Irish Tune from County Derry. Florentiner March, by Fučik, honors Hopkins’ Czech heritage, and a medley from Gilbert and Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance recalls the heyday of the Opera House on Mainstreet.
Pre-concert music will be provided in the lobby by HWCB small groups.
