Westwind Five

The Westwind Five is a woodwind quintet which consists of a flute, oboe, clarinet, french horn, and bassoon. This instrumentation provides a diversity, color, and variety in our performances We are all members of the Hopkins Westwind Concert Band. The quintet has been representing the Hopkins Westwind Band for over 30 years. We have played and a wide variety of venues from small garden parties to large community celebrations. We have also appeared at worship services, weddings and funerals. We have enjoyed the opportunity to have played several times over the years at the Landscape Arboretum.

Genre: We perform music from various genres from classical, seasonal and popular. We also work to perform music written by women, people of color, and ethnic minorities.
